I've been reading it on and off but I've finally finished
the Shining by Stephen King. It was a long read and it seemed to drag a bit. The last 200 pages was when the action started to rise. The author wanted to set the scene and every paragraph is full of imagery and atmosphere. This was one of King's earlier works, so I believe his writing style was still developing. Overall well-written. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
